Construction of Multi-Storied Apartment, In the heart of Thoppumpady, a bustling community in Kerala, a remarkable construction project took shape – the construction of a three-storied apartment with a plinth area of 129.80 square meters on the ground floor.
Mr Mohan Varghese, a visionary property owner committed to quality and timely delivery, commissioned this exceptional endeavour. Starting on February 2, 2011, and concluding on December 7, 2012, the project not only finished ahead of schedule but also set a high standard for construction excellence.

The Foundation and Structure
The foundation of this impressive building was laid upon the robust shoulders of reinforced concrete (RCC). The structure relied on 35 450mm diameter piles and 17 RCC columns for stability and longevity, forming its backbone.
Flooring and Interior Details
The attention to detail extended to the interior design. First-quality vitrified tiles adorned the ground floor, adding an elegant touch to the living spaces. The first and second floors, in turn, featured ceramic tiles, combining both aesthetics and functionality seamlessly.
To ensure safety and prevent accidents, we meticulously finished all bathroom floors with anti-skid ceramic tiles. Glazed tiles adorned the dado in the bathrooms, adding a touch of sophistication to these essential spaces.
Finishing Touches and Water Supply
To create a polished and appealing exterior, the walls of the apartment were plastered with cement mortar in a 1:4 ratio, creating a smooth and uniform finish both inside and outside.
One of the notable features of this building was its water supply system.
Ground-level installation of a 5,000-liter water tank ensures uninterrupted water supply for residents in the residential complex. Overhead, an additional water tank with a capacity of 6000 litres further catered to the needs of the occupants. Both tanks were constructed using reinforced concrete (RCC), guaranteeing their durability and longevity.
Sanitary and Electrical Solutions
High-quality ‘Hindware’ fittings enhance apartment living, adding luxury and ensuring efficiency and longevity for an improved quality of life. Complementing the sanitary fittings were water supply fittings from ‘Jaguar,’ a brand known for its reliability and performance.
We executed the electrical wiring within the building using high-grade Finolex wires, reflecting a commitment to safety and quality. Lighting was provided by Bajaj, a brand synonymous with illumination, while Crompton fans ensured comfort and ventilation throughout the apartment.
Eco-Friendly Initiatives
Recognizing the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility, this apartment complex also incorporated a rainwater harvesting facility, contributing to water conservation efforts in the region. This thoughtful addition demonstrated a commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.
