Building Renovation

Renovation is the art of transforming an existing building into a modern Building, both in looks and facilities.

Renovation of a home is an exciting project, and because it involves a significant amount of money, careful planning is required.

In some projects, the main goal will be to uncover hidden original features beneath layers of paint and dust that must be restored to their former glory. And there will be times when the house will need to be extended and rebuilt.

Why do people renovate their houses?

  • A building renovation allows you to sort problems out with the previous construction.
  • Improve the strength and elevation of your building.
  • To bring a building up to an acceptable standard.
  • Renovation helps to increase the value of your property.
  • Making your building more livable or more functional for you.

The success of a house renovation is heavily dependent on how well we prepare for what lies ahead and, to some extent, an expectation that there will be some unpleasant surprises.

Renovating a building can present several unique challenges that will require your careful attention and should be resolved before your dream home can take shape. Most importantly, these issues have unintended consequences, which usually involve money.

Building renovations generally involve the following activities.

( 1 ) Strengthening of Buildings.

Strengthening of the Building is an integral part of Renovation if required as per the present condition of the structure.

Strengthening of the building could be carried out with Mild Steel members like Angle Iron, Channels, I Beams etc. or with the Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC ).

Forgiving a better appearance, these MS members could be covered with masonry works/ cement plaster etc.

( 2 ) Demolition/ Construction works.

Renovation of the building is being done after the Demolition of unwanted walls or Rooms and the construction of new walls and Roofing according to the plan approved by the client.

Almost all the works of a new building like masonry, cement plastering, Roofing, Joinery works, Interior & furnishings such as Modular kitchen, Kitchen cabinets, wardrobe, False ceilings and Painting works are to be incorporated during the Renovation works.
